We are looking for a Category Specialist who will work on new projects, improve our process and leave a mark on the future!

How do we portray the ideal candidate?

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields from a reputable university (master's degree is preferred)
• Professional experience in product management
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Advanced command of MS Office applications
• Residing on the Asian side of Istanbul or willing to relocate
• A collaborative team player with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset
• Possesses a valid Class B driving license and is open to travel

What will you be doing as a Category Specialist at Adel?             

• Develop and implement the category strategy in line with marketing objectives, including product positioning, pricing policies, distribution channels, and promotional activities
• Monitor category performance and assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies by analyzing sales data, tracking market share and revenue growth, and reporting insights
• Develop ideas for new products by aligning product portfolios with consumer insights and trends
• Combining creativity with data-driven decision making to drive visibility, sales and loyalty
• Coordinate with R&D teams and both domestic and international suppliers for product development projects
• Monitor new, active and delist product development, packaging and positioning process and optimize portfolio where necessary
• Collaborate with relevant departments to define main category price indexes and provide insights to the pricing team
