We are looking for a Cost Accounting Specialist who will work on new projects, improve our process and leave a mark on the future!

How do we portray the ideal candidate?

• Graduated from departments such as Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Econometrics, or Statistics,
• Has at least 3 years of professional experience,
• Possesses a commercial mindset and basic knowledge of financial concepts,
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced level,
• Experienced in SAP,
• Fluent in English,
• Open to learning and development, a good team player, and highly motivated,
• Strong in presentation and persuasion skills,
• Resides on the Asian side of Istanbul or Kocaeli.

What will you be doing as a Cost Accounting Specialist at Adel?             

• Review all items constituting the product cost, prepare cost analyses and reports, and ensure coordination between production and cost functions,
• Conduct budget, actual, and replacement cost comparisons for product costs,
• During budget preparation, check allocation keys and BOM (bill of materials), and control budgeted costs,
• Regularly audit SAP user authorizations within the company,
• Create, block, and adjust expense type accounts in the company hierarchy by department,
• Prepare the production cost section of the monthly activity report,
• Follow up on warehouse entries for import files and perform file closings,
• Accompany inventory counts and ensure system-stock reconciliations,
• Prepare new product cost and pricing analyses,
• Carry out monthly standard and actual cost studies,
• Monitor and control inventory records and movements.
